About the Resort

Lindos, the prettiest village on Rhodes was once the capital of the island but now lays 29miles (47km) outside the islands current capital, Rhodes. Lindos is a quaint village with cobbled streets and white-stuccoed houses sloping down towards the sea. Previously inhabited by Romans, Byzantines, Turks and Italians, there are a melange of influences around Lindos providing stunning scenery. One other factor in giving Lindos its amazing feel is that only motorbikes and donkeys are allowed to use the village’s streets. Hiring a donkey is a brilliant way to see the surrounding area and enjoy the beautiful scenery on offer in Lindos.
In the middle of Lindos there are numerous shops, restaurants and all forms of nightlife. Locally caught fresh fish restaurants are a must for any visitor with a taste for seafood.
Lindos has a beach and a bay on the Azure Sea where you can try out a number of water sports or simply relax and enjoy the warm sunny weather.

Drink Lindos (Rhodes)Nightlife in Lindos is very varied due to the influence of tourists mixing with the local traditional styles. You can chill out in local bars with traditional courtyards; sit in English style pubs watching sport on the big screen or party away until the early hours. There are so many bars in Lindos it is hard for one person to list them all but here are a few you might like to try if not all of them.
SPORTS BARS
Many bars now seem to offer big screen football and major sporting events but there are two main sports bars in Lindos.
GIORGOS - (Opposite Ambrosia restaurant) Giorgos was the first major sports bar to arrive in Lindos, they have a big screen and smaller TVs throughout the bar.
RED ROSE - (Opposite Manolis Bar) Red Rose has a big screen outside with plenty of seating on the terrace, perfect for watching sport in the sun with a refreshing drink.
BARS TO RELAX/CHILL OUT
Even the more lively bars on Rhodes have quiet terraces where you can sit and relax, however here are a few of the better known more chilled out bars.
CAPTAINS HOUSE - This is a traditional Lindian Captains House with the main bar situated in the front courtyard. It has a very good atmosphere and is a perfect location for a pre-dinner drink.
RAINBIRD BAR - Boasts the best views in Lindos and a nice place to stop for a drink after you walk back up from the beach.
LINDOS BY NIGHT - The inside bar of Lindos By Night can get quite lively but for a relaxing night with views over the village towards the Acropolis take a seat in one of the pretty garden terraces.
YIANNIS BAR - Situated on a very busy corner of Lindos, Yiannis is a great bar to just sit and enjoy watching people go by.
MUSIC BARS
There are music bars a plenty in Lindos so you will not be stuck for choice. Here is a selection of the more popular music bars.
60’S BAR – The DJs in the 60’s bar cater for everyone so if the crowd is a younger crowd then they will change the music style to suit the crowd. During busy holiday times the bar can get quite lively, especially when they get in the party mood and start setting fire to the bar.
SOCRATES – The music in Socrates is mostly rock, compared to the popular chart music you will find in most bars around the town.
KARMA – This bar only opened in 2006 and is the only reggae bar in Lindos, perfect for a slightly different night to what you would have at home.
ANTIKA - One of the smartest bars in Lindos with a white bar, white leather chairs and a chilled out music style to match the décor.
MANOLIS - Manolis has been in Lindos for years and is well known amongst returning tourists. There is an old olive press situated in the middle of the bar, which after a few drinks often becomes the bars centre of attention as people turn it into a makeshift-dancing podium
COURTYARD – A popular stop en-route to Lindos By Night Bar, as well as the main bar inside the building there is a courtyard with bar/roof terrace upstairs. Once a week in Courtyard there is a Greek themed night with live Greek Bouzouki music and Greek Dancing.
NIGHTCLUBS
Here are a few of the nightclubs in Lindos that you may want to check out.
PIERO CLUB – By no means the best club in Lindos but a fun place to go and next door you will find Bar Code. Bar Code is a good late night/early morning bar with good popular music and also good food if you get peckish.
QUPI - An old favourite that re-opened in 2005. Qupi got a new DJ in 2006 and has since become as busy as the Qupi of old.
ARCHES - One of the most popular clubs in Lindos, you will find Arches busy all year round as even when the tourists are not in town Arches is popular amongst the locals.
AMPHITHEATRE - Amphitheatre is situated up on a hill above the village, however there are free taxis running from the centre of town through the night. It is a smart open-air club with great views as it is located on what many call 'ooh aah corner'. It is quite a big nightclub and takes some filling but in peak season it is a must visit club with a great atmosphere.

Valley of the Butterflies - The Valley of the Butterflies in Rhodes is located 20 km from the airport of Rhodes and near to the Village Kalamonas.
This is a lush green Valley, with a small river running through it. The site is beautifully arranged with little wooden bridges, stepping-stones and an uphill path, which leads to the Monastery of the Virgin of Kalopetra. The Valley of the butterflies is a unique natural park where each year thousands of multicoloured butterflies appear. The park is a nice place to walk around under the shade of the trees. The characteristic scent of the pine resin, which attracts the butterflies and the coolness from the abundantly flowing waters, make this a small paradise even during hot summer days. The valley of the butterflies is a must see attraction, nature lovers or not, the valley is breathtaking.
